CHALKIES Charlotte musician Mark Lynch appeared plenty content as a bassist in a variety of bands around town (Lou Ford, Temperance League, David Childers & The Modern Don Juans), but he’s never looked as comfortable as he is fronting the punk rock outfit Chalkies — screaming, shirtless, beer in hand, sweat pouring off his brow.
