Catch Me if you Can

When: Fri., June 7, 8 p.m., Sat., June 8, 2 & 8 p.m. and Sun., June 9, 1:30 & 7 p.m. 2013

C’mon, who doesn’t like a good scam? We for one don’t condone the behavior of master con man Frank Abagnale Jr., but we certainly praise him for his ability to transform from criminal to celebrity. Based around a true story, Broadway’s Catch Me If You Can is similar to the 2002 movie starring Leo DiCaprio. The story follows Abagnale — a young man who made millions by being an imposter and forging checks to support his highfalutin lifestyle — and features a score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. Obviously, it’s for anyone who likes a good chase, as the FBI always seems to be trailing the one-step-ahead shyster — that is, until he gets caught. Sorry for the spoiler. The Saturday evening performance features a post-show Q&A with the real Frank Abagnale Jr.
