"Now and Forever," that's the motto for "Sir" Andrew Lloyd Webber's much-loved musical THAT WON'T DIE. CATS premiered on May 11, 1981 in London's West End and continues to storm stages the world over. With characters based on T.S. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, the family favorite will again evoke a "Memory" or two of a better time. Join Grizabella, Rum Tum Tugger, Bombalurina, Macavity and all your favorite alley cats as they show you the cat's meow. Tonight is Kid's Night on Broadway; kids' tickets free with purchase of a full-priced adult ticket. Runs through Jan. 13. Tue-Fri, 8 p.m.; Sat, 2 & 8 p.m.; Sun, 1 & 6:30 p.m. Ovens Auditorium, 2700 E. Independence Blvd. 704-372-1000. www.blumenthalcenter.org.
