Carolina Pro Musica presents music by composers known and lesser-known including Telemann, Bach, Scarlatti (both Alessandro and Domenico), Handel, Diogenio Bigaglia and Maria Xaviera Peruchona. Highlights include a trio for recorder and bass viol, Bach aria (cantata 39), harpsichord sonatas by D. Scarlatti, a vocal work by Handel, a motet by Italian Peruchona. There will be something for everyone. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Carolina Pro Musica, established in 1977, performs music composed before 1800 with period instruments and voice. Now in their 34th season, they have also performed in Poland, England and Boston.
