Carolina Pro Musica: Changing the World Queen Christina in Rome

Christina, Queen of Sweden, abdicated the throne, became a catholic and moved to Rome where she befriended many of the city's elite. She became a patron of the arts promoting some of her favorite composers including Carissimi, Pasquini, Stradella and Corelli. This concert include voice and period instruments.
