Isabel Wilkerson's critically-acclaimed book, The Warmth of Other Suns, follows progressive migrations of more than six million African-Americans from the South to cities in northern and western parts of the U.S. It's the product of years of research and writing, two tasks of which Wilkerson specializes in, as a former national correspondent/bureau chief at The New York Times and a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist. Wilkerson will talk and read from her book during a special visit to McGlohon Theatre tonight.
