BLUE RUIN
The latest offering from the Back Alley Film Series is this thriller that’s been racking up awards at international film festivals, including one at Cannes last year. It centers on Dwight (Macon Blair), a homeless man who learns that the person who destroyed his family has just been released from prison. Dwight’s subsequent act of vengeance serves to fuel a violent feud that only escalates. (Matt Brunson)
