Michael Cuscuna, record producer and leading discographer for the renowned Blue Note Records talks and answers questions. Learn about the music and legendary musicians during the most prolific years in jazz history. What are some stories of Miles, Coltrane, Lee Morgan and others who created jazz standards? Blue Note is still producing great music from musicians, such as Robert Glasper, Trombone Shorty, and Dianne Reeves. The program includes a display of some of the iconic Francis Wolff photographs of legendary jazz artists during a reception. This will be a unique event to kick off jazz appreciation month (April).
