Forget standing in the cold for a glimpse of a "live" nativity — that won't get your blood rushing like Langston Hughes' Black Nativity. The production, a staple among the Yuletide classics in circuit this time of year, is presented by Tomorrow's R.O.A.D. (Roots Of the African Diaspora) at McGlohon Theater, from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2. Crystal Little directs a cast of young African-American performers reenacting the great Harlem Renaissance poet’s story of Jesus' birth through dancing, gospel singing, scripture and spoken word. Lance Hamright directs the music and the piece was choreographed by La'Tanya Johnson and Toi A. R. Johnson.
