Moving Day: A man called police after his ex-girlfriend and her mother allegedly tried to drive him out of the house they share last week. The man had called the police on the woman earlier in the day and told them to arrest her and charge her with a DWI. When her mother found out about this, the victim says, she came to the house, ran into his bedroom and slapped him in the face. The ex-girlfriend came home and allegedly began pouring bleach on all of his clothes, racking up $350 worth of damage.

Ass-ault: Police responded to a rape call at a light rail station in south Charlotte last week, but found that the 46-year-old woman was instead the victim of assault. She told officers she was listening to headphones while waiting for the light rail when a man approached and began dancing with her. When he started grinding on her and touching her rear end, the woman called police.

Dog-eat-dog world: Police responded to a call at a west Charlotte home last week and found a shady scene and a man trying to convince them nothing was wrong. Police reported finding large pools of blood in the house. The man said they came from a wounded dog, but no dog was found and the man's story didn't explain why police also found multiple bullet holes in the ceiling. The investigation is ongoing.

Something smells fishy: A man was taking some old food out to the trash at a local Firehouse Subs when he was confronted by a man he says was pretending to have a gun under his shirt. The suspect relieved the victim of two packages of old tuna that were on the way to the trash anyway before making his escape.

Dirt off your shoulder: A 33-year-old woman was not able to get across to her young son last week after he began acting up. The woman told officers that she was attempting to discipline the boy when he picked up a broom and struck her in the shoulder with it.

Hose it down: A 56-year-old man left home for an hour one morning and came back to find that someone tried to flood his house. While he was gone, an unknown suspect opened his window, shoved his garden hose into the opening and let it rip. The man was able to catch it before the entire house was swamped, but $100 worth of damage was done to the kitchen.

Pulp Fiction: A 36-year-old woman called police after she and her three sons were bullied by four men who broke into their home. She told officers the men came into the house and grabbed a drink out of one of her sons' hand and drank it in front of him. The men also ate some of the family's cheesecake, popsicles and other snacks before leaving. The men allegedly came back later to threaten the boys so they wouldn't tell the police.
