Werewolves of Charlotte: Three people walked into a University-area Rite Aid, where one of the suspects concealed more than $200 worth of electric razors in her purse before all three fled the store. Do they know those things aren't disposable? One'll do ya for years.
Maybe He's A Gamer: Someone broke into the Plaza Midwood-area home of a 47-year-old man and stole a Samsung Galaxy 2, an LG smartphone, $50 in cash and $400 worth of quarters. So, if he's not into video games, he's doing a helluva lot of laundry.
Using Your Head: A 40-year-old man refused medical treatment after someone assaulted him by hitting him in the head with a computer monitor. The victim suffered only minor bruises and scratches.
... And A Bite To Eat: Someone entered through a locked door at the north Charlotte apartment of a 23-year-old woman and stole a PS3, video games, DVDs and a stereo speaker. But wait, that's not all. They also found time to take some chicken breast, hamburger and vegetables. We're always amazed when criminals stop to steal random food.
Blame The Munchies: Someone walked into an Uptown CVS and attempted to steal a pack of Starburst candy. When he was caught shoplifting, a small amount of marijuana was discovered. If you're going to commit a crime, you probably want to leave the drugs at home.
Kill Bill: A 16-year-old boy reported that someone entered into his residence through an unlocked window while he was sleeping and stole a samurai sword. No word if it was a woman in a yellow jumpsuit.
Itchy? Irritable?: A woman shoplifted more than 60 feminine products totalling $418 by concealing the items in her purse and a CVS Pharmacy bag. Maybe next time she should consult a doctor.
Blotter items are chosen from the files of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
