Local photographers Jasiatic Anderson, De’Angelo Bethune, Daniel Coston, Stephen Graddick IV, Sandra Guynes, Cynthia Mitchell, Tonya Price, and Jon Strayhorn, influenced by the 1950s documentary photography featured in the Bearing Witness: Sonia Handelman Meyer and the New York Photo League exhibit, respond with black and white and color images photographed in Charlotte-Mecklenburg’s social and community setting.
