Just because it's dreaded Monday doesn't mean you can't indulge in a little culture. How about checking out The Light Factory's latest exhibit The Photographer as Filmmaker. This exhibit brings together the work of photographers William Klein, Stanley Kubrick, Mary Ellen Mark, Ralph Gibson, Sarah Moon, John Cohen, Emily Hanako Momohara, & Sarah A. Martin, all who have explored the realm of filmmaking at some point during their careers. If you time it right, you can check out screenings of feature film Henri Cartier Bresson: The Impassioned Eye (2003) by Sarah Moon at noon or 3 p.m. Exhibit ends June 28. Free. The Light Factory is located in Spirit Square, 345 N. College St. 704-333-9755. www.thelightfactory.org.
