Blending string percussion with harmonics, guitarist Andy McKee was a talented yet relatively unknown fingerstylist in 2006. Then McKee’s “Drifting” garnered over 50 million hits on YouTube, landing gigs opening for Prince. Like his fellow fretman on CandyRat Records’ roster Peter Ciluzzi — who played the Evening Muse last month — McKee is an accomplished stylist who channels his virtuosity into emotional storytelling.
