DEAR BLANCA
Dear Blanca’s Pobrecito, the Bo White-produced second full-length from the Columbia, South Carolina, indie rock band, is adorned with flecks of steel guitar, keys and organ — and on the aching, arcing “Noma,” a lonesome singing-saw line. The garnishes amplify Dylan Dickerson’s ragged-but-right songs, equal parts Minutemen punk and Townes Van Zandt country. Dear Blanca leans closer to the raucous alt-country of local headliner Amigo than Charleston’s Susto, also on the bill. (Patrick Wall)
