If Agent Orange had only dropped ”Bloodstains,” the early-’80s SoCal skate-punk band’s bonafides would have been firmly established. Though the band also drew from metal and surf music, the members were punk in attitude — as well as in execution on some songs, like “Living in Darkness” and their cover of the surf classic “Pipeline.” The Fullerton, California, outfit isn’t a quintessential Cali punk band, but they’re fun. And you can’t beat “Bloodstains” for pure, early American punk at its rawest.
