Creative Loafing Charlotte

As with a number of Charlotte's best, Mary Tuma doesn't get many opportunities to show her work here, which is our loss and other cities' gain. Tuma's large-scale installations, which incorporate found objects, old fabrics and other materials, are meditative works informed, in part, by her experiences and perceptions as a woman and a Palestinian American.
