Charlotte's annual Festival In The Park is going on 47 years of taking over Freedom Park. The three-day festival draws large crowds and more than 150 participating artists. Paintings, handmade jewelry, performance artists, funnel cake, cotton candy and other (edible and inedible) goods will be for sale, and multiple stages provide varying forms of entertainment, like live music and dancing.
