The 2022 Rock Hill Amateur Street Skateboarding Classic contest will be held Saturday,  April 23, 2022, in the Episcopal Church of our Saviour (ECOOS) parking lot at 153 E  White St, where the Shepard Fairey Mural is located, as well as the Mercantile HQ.

The contest layout & concept are the creative works of R3late (people, purpose, passion),  a local business concierge and specialty event group, partnered with the Rock Hill Public  Skatepark Project. The contest pays homage to the forefathers of street skateboarding,  while combining modern day progression with today's street skating. Modeled after the  1986 historical "Sacto" Street Contest, it will be used to bring awareness for the future  development of a Rock Hill Public Skate Park.

The 2022 Rock Hill Skateboarding Classic is proud to announce Olympic  skateboarder and Rock Hill native, Christiana Means, as a guest judge! Christiana  currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, and competes as a Professional skateboarder.

On-site registration begins at 10am sharp! Participants can also register online in  advance (strongly encouraged.) The event will feature music, local restaurants, vendors,  and prize giveaways for contestants. Contest will consist of a timed obstacle course set-up  and a best trick contest.
