#hashtaghungry: Bistro La Bon's Monday night jazz, Chefs' Collaborative Dinner, more

Each week, The Social Eater picks a handful of filter-friendly, tweetable, social media-shareable foodie events in and around the city. No #struggleplates allowed.

* Every Monday night, Bistro La Bon hosts a jazz jam session. Anchored by the Troy Conn Trio, the night is populated with a rotating selection of local musicians and vocalists. Feel free to bring your chops or just sit back and enjoy the ones on offer from both the band and kitchen. The vibe is Blue Note meets Midwood: relaxed with an edge of underground cool. Offering one the best bar bites menus in the city, Bistro has become my favorite way to wind down after a hectic day and turn up for the week at the same time. #JamonOnTheOne

* There's no such thing as too many cooks in the kitchen when they're all at the top of their game. On Tuesday, Clark Barlowe (Heirloom), Chris Coleman (The Asbury), Luca Annuziata (Passion 8 Bistro), Ben Philpott (Block & Grinder) and Paul Verica (Heritage Food & Drink) divide and conquer a 5-course menu of dreams at Block & Grinder for the Chefs' Collaborative Dinner. Proceeds benefit the Piedmont Culinary Guild, a grassroots effort that champions the farm-to-table principles for which the associated chefs are known. As if having a culinary supergroup curate your tastebuds isn't exciting enough, craft beer selections accompany each course. #MerengueBang

* Feast Food Tours are a great way to get to know some of the city's favorite foodie districts and make a few friends along the way. Friday's Bars & Bites in Historic South End follows the Light Rail Trail, highlighting happy hour hotspots and the history of the area. The half-dozen stops along the walking tour include food samples, craft beers and wine and cocktail pairings along with a mixology demonstration and at-home entertaining tips. You'll nibble enough to make a meal and walk all the calories off. Win-win. #GrazyTrain
