Don’t expect this production of The Red Badge of Courage to be typical. The folks over at Children's Theatre of Charlotte are taking their creative liberties and putting a spin on the fairly depressing classic war novel. The added element of hip-hop heightens the hype, as performers are set to sing and dance their way through the story of Henry, a soldier who flees from the field of battle to reflect on feelings of courage and cowardice, and encounters with mayhem and death.
