The Charlotte Museum of History will host a series of afternoon teas based on the tea-time customs of Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and England. A guest speaker from the featured country will give a presentation on that country’s culture and tea customs. The Scottish afternoon tea is August 17, 2014 and will feature Scottish shortbread along with a traditional tea menu. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required no later than two days prior to the event.

Price: $20 for the public, $15 for museum members
