Manifest Discs is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month with a number of special events. They are planning a sale around the release of the digitally remastered Beatles catalog starting on Sept. 9. Theory of a Deadman had an in-store appearance on Aug. 30 as part of the event, as well. The sales will end with the release of the new Avett Brothers disc on Sept. 29.
"Our store has become a fixture within the Charlotte community," store manager Adam Carmen stated in a press release. "The people of Charlotte come to enjoy our unparalleled selection of music, movies, video games and a host of lifestyle accessories. Manifest is considered a 'friend of the family' to the residents of our great city."
Aside from being a store, the location also plays host to a variety of major touring acts who do in-store events, as well as a location for local bands to perform. It's also a location where Creative Loafing places its Homebrew CD for free pick-up by customers.
Manifest Discs is located at 6239 South Blvd. in the Starmount Shopping Center.
