Careful whose titties you twist

Purple Nurple: Two police officers were pulled away from their dinners at Solstice Tavern last week after some patrons got too rough with each other at the bar. The two men, who live together, were drinking when one reached out and grabbed the other's nipple for a "titty twister." The titty twistee punched his roommate in the chest. The roommate told the officers, who then placed the punch-happy man in handcuffs. But before they left, the officers watched footage from security cameras and saw the titty twist go down. They then handcuffed the original offender - the titty twitterer.

Shopping addicts: Employees at a local Target became suspicious of three girls walking around the store last week and decided to watch them more closely. The security guard saw the girls put multiple clothing items into a large purse. When the girls approached the exit, the security guard confronted and detained the one holding the purse. Then, before the guard could react, one of the girls grabbed the bag from the girl already in custody and ran out the store with the other shoplifter. The pair got away.

Fed Up Fan: Police officers working at a recent Carolina Panthers game went to investigate a public drunkenness complaint and found a woman climbing over rows of seats as she tried to get to the aisle. When she reached the aisle, she was face to face with one of the officers, whom she pushed in the chest. That officer and three others tried to control the woman to arrest her, but she refused to go easily. She kicked one and spit on all four. The way the Panthers have been playing, we don't blame her for being pissed.

Preach It: A 69-year-old man was able to get his religious teachings across to someone who probably needed them last week, albeit in a non-typical way. The man reported that an unknown suspect broke into his car and stole a book of about 200 CDs - all Christian music.

Threats of the Week: A 32-year-old woman filed a report after receiving 60 texts and four phone calls from a man whom she had already filed a restraining order against. In one of the messages the man said, "I hope you die some time before 3 a.m." Another text read, "If you love your son you better take care of him. I'm going to shoot your mom, your brother and your sister."
