Though not a museum, gallery, theater or even a club, Dupp & Swat has built up a reputation as the premiere place to experience Charlotte’s next vanguard of professional artists. Its monthly I’m An Artist, Dammit series has hosted creative works of every stripe, from photography exhibits to alternative R&B performances to spitfire improvisational poetry. And now with the launch of art magazine Spread, here’s hoping Davita Galloway and her brother Dion showcase even more Q.C. talent.
