After initially creating The Serpent Tree as a site-specific installation in Denmark, artist Allison Luce has expanded and crossed waters for the exhibit's current home at Central Piedmont Community College’s Ross Gallery. Her art takes a naturalistic approach to the story of the Garden of Eden, with ceramic sculptures and monoprints decorated to represent life, desire and temptations implicitly related to the Biblical narrative. Diana Arvanites' Experiments in Roundness, a showcase of mixed media works, is also on display.
