About Face Charlotte is dedicated to cultivating kindness, compassion and connection through photography, story-telling and community engagement. According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2014 American Community Survey, there are 147,989 people in Mecklenburg County living in poverty. People whose world consists only of survival, and who have never experienced what it feels like to be loved. The mission of About Face Charlotte is to share the stories of some of these invisible neighbors, and to share the stories of those that serve. Bethany Otten will lead a 75 minute deep stretch class to support the mission of compassion and connection
