In 2008, Creative Loafing spent a day with DeVondia Roseborough, who was diagnosed with AIDS in 2003. Since her diagnosis, Roseborough has dedicated her life to educating and empowering women about life and avoiding the pitfalls.

HLN, formerly CNN's Headline News channel, took notice. She will be featured on the cable news' Morning Express with Robin Meade on the “Breakthrough Women” segment.

This series features women who break the mold and impact the lives of others through their accomplishments.

"I am a motivational speaker and I consider myself to be a woman of empowerment and a woman on the move. I want encourage other women and young girls to maintain self-esteem by first, they own who they are and at the same time be respectful to their minds, bodies and souls so they can not go up against the woes of the world and get into the stuff that I go into," she said.

Roseborough is constantly speaking at colleges, churches and community groups about her journey from the death bed to starting the RasberriRose Foundation.

"I use tough love, because that's what was given to me, to reach out to women," she said.

You can catch her on HLN on Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-9 a.m., Friday, 7 p.m.-8p.m. and again Sunday, 10:30 a.m.-11 a.m.
